DESCRIPTION:Organisers are Stuart and Moira Smith. \nThis run is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the inaugural run which was the beginning of our club on the 30th June 1991. Paul Van Gool [still a member] and the late Phil Evett got together and with support from the Gold Coast MG Club started the club which has become what it is today overcoming many hurdles on the way. \nThe run will be starting at the Lemon Park Palmwoods [UBD Ref\, Page 75 P8] after a short run to finish at the Orongary Restaurant\, Cnr Landsborough-Maleny Rd and Mountain View Rd\, Maleny for lunch\, the original start & destination was Kalora Park [The Duckpond] Palmwoods and Mary Cairncross Park Maleny both in close proximity to our start and finish points for this run. There will be a simple Show and Shine at the Restaurant\, judged by the members. Start time for BYO morning tea 9.30am for the run to start at 10.00

DESCRIPTION:Organisers are David and Carolyn Jones. \nThe day and date have changed to fit in with the planned venue David is looking at . The day for this event has been changed to Saturday 23rd from Sunday 24th. This change has been made because the venue\, “Hell Town Hot Rod Gallery” have recommended to David Saturday is the better day as Sunday is very hectic with 150-200 people present enjoying food\, drinks and dancing to loud HEAVY METAL music and the possibility of long delays for food. \nI don’t recall ever doing a run on a Saturday in my 14 years in the club so lets give it a go\, there is no doubt it will be inconvenient to some members but may be suitable to others. \nDavid has been to the venue several times and assures me there is something there to be of interest to men and women\, he also assures me the food is good quality pub style meals and the music on a Saturday afternoon is “low key Rock and Roll” and the client base is smaller and less noisy. \nStart time – 9.00 for 9.30am \nStart point – Muller Park\, Bli Bli. \nDavid has a run taking us through to Gheerulla Park\, Kenilworth for BYO morning tea then working our way to our lunch venue. \nFurther info contact David 0437 479 954 \n
